McGilchrist's reframe (faith as being true to something that calls rather than as certainty about a proposition) is close kin to something I found myself defending in a completely different exchange today about James's live-forced-momentous framework. Both are pointing at the same category error, treating faith as a weaker form of knowledge when it's actually answering a different question entirely, not what's provable but what's worth staying loyal to before the proof arrives, if it ever does.

Thank you, Joan. ❤️ This touched deeply here in so many ways. I love your writing (for many years now) and this one was a revealing of ancient areas within that have been ripening & opening.

Then I read this and with it, somehow I grokked the essence of what is moving.

I really so appreciate the depth of your pointing & sharing.

It all just shows up so gorgeously as this. ❤️

Thank you again. ❤️❤️❤️
