Welcome home, and thanks for the comprehensive “field notes” of your hospital stay. I especially smiled at “They were all beautiful, radiant beings. We had a lot of fun together, a lot of laughter and love.” I bet not too many hospital patients would be able to report this!
So happy to read all this! You look great, by the way😂I’m probably going to get a cut like yours next week, it’ll be a lot easier to manage when I move to hospice😉love love love
Great that it went all well for you!! Your humor and vivid descriptions made me smile and laugh out loud several times when reading your text, especially the nearly face planting into your dinner plate. I somehow could see this directly. That’s life … and my best wishes to recover fully soon.
So glad you made it through so well. You look particularly happy to be home. An overall success!
"...like my hair is on fire 🔥" ❤️ 🤣
I read peace in every paragraph.
Thank you as always for sharing you and your beautiful writing! 💖
I've been thinking about you, wondering, trusting that the surgeons hands were steady for this surgery.
An utterance of joy escaped my lips, when I saw you had written to us all.
Thankyou for being you, right here, right now.
S.
I am so happy it went well. Sending you much love.
So glad the surgery went so well and your back home now, Joan. Hope the pain subsides soon. Love you. ♥️
Good to hear from you Joan...that poem by Dorothy Hunt hits the bullseye...

Actually through lots of chemotherapy I felt the same. Actually missed it when it was all over. The relationships, the intimacy.
