This, as always, is dharma. Our ability to respond skilfully (or not) is also a part of that "weather" that shifts with each moment...so, just because we may have gained much by simply being silent and still in the past doesn't mean we'll be able to respond similarly now, or in the future. Whatever arises, it's all okay (whether we like it or not)....because it can be no different than it is, and opposing or attaching is the way of dissatisfaction. Deep bows to all.
