Last night I watched an interview you did with Tony Packer. It infused me. This morning I watched one of her retreat sessions on attention and again she took me by the hand. Nature has been my greatest teacher, an early childhood memory is sitting under a tree, in complete harmony with my surroundings...effortless. I wanted to express my gratitude and write you an e-mail, opening the mail-box, I found your answer :-). Feel like giving you a Big Hug
My affirmation this week is simply ‘I AM’ - I wrestle every week to find an affirmation that will keep me focused and hopeful. This week I felt I needed to remind myself of all that I AM.
Hey Joan - yes, the more life I experience and the more I look into this stuff, the more consistently my perspective seems to be that I have to experience what is - as it is for me - and that whilst elements of what other people say will sometimes resonate with that personal experience, they can never fully encapsulate what it is to be ME. When the view that "this perspective is true" is advanced....it can only really mean "this perspective is true for me, in this instant". Nothing more. I wish you well.
Wonderful article. I am a big fan of Darryl, Peter, and John as well. Thank you for the referral to Simon! I checked out a couple of his short videos and they resonated here as well. He has a unique presentation and seems to be genuinely helpful. 🙏

Petra, I like "Nature has been my greatest teacher..." The picture that begins Joan's column today does it for me. ❤️
I'm so happy you discovered Toni Packer. She was a rare gem. I feel so blessed to have been with her. Big hug to you, too. ❤️
Thank you Joan, these reminders and recommendations are very welcome!
I've always respected Darryl Bailey's work. He's got his talking points and he's sticking to them. : )
Thank you Joan for sharing.

I am all of it and yet none of it.
The paradox of life.
