The felt sense of Byron Katieβs inquiry, was one of the first times I realized just how powerful my thoughts were emotionally. The felt sense of relief when I ask how would I feel without that thought was immediate. I real eye opener for me.
Hi Joan, Let me introduce myself. I'm about to turn 85 and am an author. My passion over the past 20 or so years has been committed to giving women their voices - through legacy writing, loosely based on "the ethical will" of Genesis.I met Susie Kaufman who writes on Substack under the title "Seventy Something" (I recommend her thoughtful and beautiful writing). I decided to write for Substack too naming my column "Reflections at 85". I have only posted once so far, but in searching for other writers who are writing about aging, I came across "Right Now Just As It Is" and felt right at home. I was especially impressed by your film recommendations and excited to watch some that are new to me. Thank you for your column, and I hope you'll check mine out too.
Beautiful as always. ππΌππΌβ€οΈ
